I'm a student from that era and this is true. It was literally impossible to have a civil conversation with them about anything. They were real life trolls, flaming everybody that had beaten recently, absolutely insufferable

Be happy you didn't have to endure them under Leach. It seemed like there were 3x as many arrests in town when we played them at home compared to every other game.
