I bet if you had told State fans before the season started, "Hey, midway through y'all are going to have the number one defense in the league," they would have assumed they were going to win it all this year, because it was just assumed that the offense would be there. Really weird how things have worked out.

How long before Mike Leach's offense leads us to a national championship? 2-3 years or is it looking more like 5-6. He'll be drawing Social Security before long so I'm not sure we get 6 years out of him.

It wouldn't have been just us. Most people would have assumed that State would be a contender if they knew we'd have the top defense in the league at this point.
I've never seen anything like it. This offense is not going to work in this league, just like most of you said. We're going to have to do something drastic.

How drastic? I support promoting Arnette and then hiring an OC, maybe Hugh Freeze.
