Neyland has turf for aesthetics, they go back and forth between grass and turf every few decades when someone has a new grass or method to see it grow and be vibrant in the east TN fall. The current turf is not that tacky green fake carpet that inspired your post.

If Tennessee can consistently fill it that is awesome.
Interesting seeing which teams consistently fill the stadium…, not talking selling seats… but having people in them during a game.
