HOW HARD would it have been for the SEC to keep their in-state rivalries with the ACC?

The ACC would've had to agree to keep all the games they'd scheduled with us. The SEC wasn't going to frick over the teams that had ACC matchups that weren't rivalries.

In a global pandemic, when football is in doubt as is, the best conference in the country doesn’t need to worry about or answer to one of the worst conferences in the country.

If even one of the games would’ve been something of consequence to the season, they might’ve thought about it. Florida State, Georgia Tech, and SC are in shambles right now.

Reasonable intellect would suggest, that losing UGA-UVA, Aubie-UNC, and Arky-ND is way less important than losing the 4 In State Rivalries at the end of the Season, Rivalries dating back 70 to 100 years

So losing Bama-USC is no big deal, but the SEC Commish wants to "find religion" over losing those 3 early season OoC games I mentioned above

Every Conference is losing P5 & G5 OoC Games that would have been highly desired by most Fans, but saving the Traditional Thanksgiving Weekend Rivalries should have been a priority for the SEC Commish, OTOH look at what the ACC Commish did , he knew the Conf would lose some OoC Games, but he crafted the language to specifically SAVE the Season Ending Rivalries with the SEC

In a Pandemic where Games are being lost left & right you cannot be a whiny bitch like the SEC Commish and expect to not lose ANY big OoC Games

I thought their +1 was for this...but I see your point.

Does any SEC team have an annual rivalry OOC other than the 4 SEC/ACC games?

If it had just been +1 it would've worked but they put a provision into it saying that the +1 had to be in-state.

Due to CV19 The ACC Conference Office takes the legal pressure off of the individual Athl Depts, by putting that stipulation in about the in-State OoC games, the ACC Office made it harder for OoC cupcakes to sue for breach of Contract for cancelling games while still preserving the Rivalry Weekend Games, the trouble is , is that the SEC Commish was too stupid to play along

If you play 10 or 11 games and the Conference Office doesn't put that stipulation in about the OoC being in State a lot of Cupcakes are gonna sue claiming that if you can play 10 you could've played our School and paid us our "appearance fee"

The ACC Commish is playing Chess while the SEC Commish is playing Checkers

Nope. The SEC was not screwing other teams in our conference that had ACC matchups in favor of those that had rivalry matchups. Sorry but fairness is more important to us.

Take a video drone and fly it over the Player's Parking Lot at Bama and you'll know this isn't true

Looks like a car show for Dodge Chargers and Ford F-150s, you could bring Hot Rod Magazine in for a photo shoot and they'd run out of SD Cards taking pics of Bama's Player's Cars

Yeah right, fairness is more important to us......
