So how would Clemson building a 20k seat basketball arena help them? It would be less than 1/2 full most nights.

For that matter UT has played has played in that huge arena and save a few years they have not been good while Duke plays in a high school gym and wins the title about what 1 out of every 5 or 6 years. I haven’t looked it up but I doubt if Nova plays in a huge place but I bet most schools would trade places with them over the last five years.

So go ahead and demand a huge place and then when you are like Clemson making the NIT it’s a pretty bad return on your money.

Clemson's volleyball team doesn't play in Littlejohn. It plays in Jervey gym.

Schools in the SEC have more demand across all sports

15,000 show up for an Alabama gymnastics competition
20,000 used to show up for a night weekday game when Pat was at Vols
18,000 show up for SC women's basketball (usually Top 5 in national attendance)
SEC baseball has about 1/3 to 1/2 of the top 25 attended college baseball venues

SEC is blessed with "the six" across most of the SEC sports so it is not just 1 or 2 schools drawing turnstile numbers when played across the conference.

You are not factoring in ACC colleges are small compare to the SEC and other conferences. Many of them are private colleges.

You’re not factoring in that no one likes you, so there’s also that to ponder

Y'all have a good squad this season. We will no doubt face off again in the tournament. Hard fought 1-0 match today.

Odd that you came here though, just to bump this thread in order to post the upset win.

What does that tell us about you, if you were one of us reading this?

Can we get the OP updated to reflect the Arkansas women’s soccer teams 2-0 victory over #1 UNC today?
