I can see how you would believe that is true. I mean, Oklahoma beats the frick out of you every year, and they stuck around, but after testing the water, we all learned really quickly that the dirt burglars didn't have as much game as they wanted us all to believe. I really don't think so.
The deal breaker was the second (and eventually third) LHN game. They needed that to get the cable companies the LHN currently has, but we were firm on that issue.
Now, if they played politics different they could have kept us locked in via the legislature or via a Baylor proxy.
