Congrats. It would be even more impressive if it weren't for the fact that A&M and Mizzou will each bring more money to the conference than Ole Miss will.
Also unfortunate that one of your pledges is going to take your weak football team to town at your own place.

Well, let's see...
I lived in central Texas, and loved it. So I won't bad mouth the state. I learned to hate UTw and think the Aggies were a cult pretending to be a university, but overall, I can't wait to get back there.
I didn't grow up in Florida and used to sling around a lot of the same "Florida ain't the South," stuff; then I moved here. Aside from some of the bigger cities, I was wrong about that and will defend the state as having plenty of Southern culture still. I've met a lot of good folks while I've been down here that are the epitome of Southern hospitality. The northerners may have the east coast from Vero down, but that only extends about 10-20 miles inland.
Aggies making fun of Cubans is odd as they vote Republican as a block, hate communists more than you do, and produce some of the most beautiful women on Earth. I got on well with Mexicans, and I get on well with Cubans. For the most part, they are cool people to hang out with.
I'm looking forward to going to the game Saturday. Be good to see some of my good friends back in Austin and get to watch a game at the Aggie First Unitarian Church of the Elder Nut Grabbers. I promise to take my hat off and not step on the grass.
And I truly hope we stomp your arse. Go Gators!

The big2 of the west have had far more problems with Ole Miss than aTm the past four seasons...
