Just for fun... If there was a new award, and could be the most prestigious in college football... (1)What would you name it?
(2)How would it be determined?
(3)What type of trophy?
1)I would call it the "The Wood Award" in honor of DMAC. The first would go to Mark Ingram.
2)Determined by a vote from all major college players.
3)The trophy wood be wood.

The boy has won just about everything you can win and has a plaque on the stadium.

Would it? That would be something. Would they give it out after the bowl games?

I would give out a bronze bust of Nick Saban, with a button on it that, when pressed, would make the statue say "Relative to everyone else, you did good, aight?"

He's a phenomenon. I could see that really happening in the future.

When he isn't playing he can be clumsy.

I have always thought this was sort of ghey.
Especially making the plaque while he was still attending school.

I was surprised, but if anyone could have that happend and not be a snob about it it's him. Plus, his teammates wanted it up there and asked the Coached to see if they could get it up there.

Fair enough. That's a different story.

True fact here
After Auburn went 13-0 and missed out on their NC chance, the members of a Pickem Pool (over 100 of us annually) decided to award what is known as The Slabby to the team we feel was most deserving of the NC despite any BCS calculation.
The award is known as the heaviest trophy in all of sports...it's basically this big arse slab of rock that is engraved with the name of the school getting the consensus of our vote. We then contact the SID/AD of the school offering the trophy to them for one season (shipping costs paid by them lol). So far, Auburn, LSU, Florida et.al. have politely declined.

This season, Bama, accept it...OK (if all goes well)?
