re: A message from the New Ole Miss AD

You Ole Miss types sure are sensitive about what a football coach says when he is trying to sell his school to recruits. We don't recruit head to head with Alabama, LSU, Florida, for very many recruits. We also don't win Division, SEC or National Championships. If we did, you would hardly hear the Egg Bowl mentioned. We do recruit head to head with Ole Miss and in some case Southern Miss for recruit. His highest achievement thus far is getting to bowl games (I don't care what tier you asshats want to call them) and winning the instate rival game which happens to be called a bowl. State has won 3 in a row. What do you want him to say to 17-18 year old recruits "don't come here because our championships only come in the form of Egg Bowl championship"? I thought you people that talk so highly of the black bear understood sales and marketing. He doesn't give a rat's arse what you all think. He is talking to the recruits that he wants to come to Mississippi State to play football. Like I said, all you got to do to shut him up is win a damn ballgame. Unfortunately for y'all, (and I suspect this is what chaps that arse the worst) is that you probably won't do it now before he leaves for some other job.
