A lot of teams are inconsistent week to week because players don’t play for the team

There isn’t the cohesiveness of a team or pride for the overall school. You have talented individual players who can get up one week but then show up apathetic the next. The new college football is doomed until NIL gets to be what it was meant for for players to get paid for signing their own jerseys, etc and not pay for play or schools straight up paying players millions before playing a down of college football
