I think AU would easily be undefeated this year if they played UGAs schedule.

It's possible, but who knows? KJ was injured early in the year when we play ND and you would still play us and Alabama. I really don't care for hypotheticals, because
putting you on our schedule changes everything, and there really is no way of knowing what might happen. You would be playing against different offenses and defenses...who knows if Auburn could stop the GT offense? I was worried about it, because it is so off the wall. I mean, when you change the teams up it changes everything.

You know...this is the first time I've seen you have a good conversation without crapping on Georgia.

That said, we played Auburn twice and MState this year, along with Florida, and Notre Dame, which is a physical team. That would be 5 pretty physical games. While GT is not really good, they are physical in that their chop blocks tend to get players injured, so I would say 6 physical games for us.

Nobody will argue that the West is a better division, and you played Clemson on top of that. Clemson's front 7 is no joke, particularly their DLine.

And I have said this before, AU had two weeks to prepare for Bama, while UGA had three weeks to prepare for Auburn. Say what you want about GT, but this year they sucked (5-7). When you play a triple option team, most of the contact is made 2 yards within the LOS. The angle the hits prevent injuries due to that style of play. I threw in UF as a physical team based on their history, but this year UF was not very physical.

Wonder if holland still gets hurt if they didn't have to play the mighty Monroe Redhawks. ?

Its quite the reach when you are ignoring chop blocks.

You can say that, but you would be wrong. if you don't prepare for that offense of GT you will get beat. Badly. It's not like we were playing Samford or somebody. If you coast on GT they will make you look really, really bad.

True, but this year MState was not really physical, nor was Ole Miss. Or, in my opinion MState did not seem physical. Of course, I wasn't out on the field so....

The Officials were very cognizant of chop blocks this year, they called it some times when it really didn't happen. So I do not think GTs chop blocks occurred. With GT every thing is based on leverage and one on one blocks at the LOS, so the chance of injuries is reduced. Plus the clock is contently running against teams like GT.

We played two of the top 4 teams from the West, and have a shot to play a third. It's not like we don't schedule tough opponents. Well, next year will be an easy schedule, considering, but we will still play Auburn and LSU from the West.

Ark plays a physical style under Bert and Ole Miss is still like they were under Freeze without the depth. A&M is the only true soft team in the West, but they play a different style.

Chop blocks is not really what GT does. They do more cut blocks, but we (me) tend to just call them chop blocks. What GT does is legal, but probably won't be for long. They dive at the feet of their opponents...feet and legs/knees. It can still be pretty dangerous, though.

Is this part of the Auburn melt?
Or is Auburn just this done.

No team in their right mind would consider ignoring a full week of prep against GT.

No fan in his right mind is going to consider an opponent who played GT the week before as fresh and having a head start on preparation for the following week.

Nothing worked on in the week of GT will correlate to any other team.
