Trigga Tray? He was all over the field in the SECCG.

Or are you talking about a different one?

That is how he played all year, but he was hurt during the IB. That is a big reason UGA has been successful against AU in recent years. AU has limped into that game, while UGA has played in the weak, weak East. The only team to really challenge them physically has been UF, and we know how that series has been the last 20 years.

The only reason Auburn ever loses a game is because of injuries. Don't you know that already?

Tre Williams, Matthews and Holland were injured during the IB while playing a 11-0 Bama. UGA was nice and healthy after playing a 5-7 GT.

Then why were so many Auburn fans shocked when their injuries were announced? I went through your game thread for laughs.

Our first string QB went down in the first game, and Michel went down early in the third quarter.
You guys played a tough schedule. I am happy to admit that and say Auburn had a heckuva year. But you need to get past it. If you want to take shots at georgia, we will take shots back, and Auburn will not come out on the winning side of this.

I also saw where y'all were laughing about all the excuses Georgia fans came out with after the first game, and were talking about bumping the excuses thread after the second game.

Who is making all the excuses now? You guys ran your mouths leading up to the second game. If you would just come on here and talk, very few people would be trolling you. But, no. You want to come on here and talk crap, then when we talk crap back, we are insufferable. Priceless.

Truth. Mr. Coach Gus Malzahn shits the bed when championships are on the line.

We should have seen it coming. He kept talking about "winning 5 games in a row." Like the goal was the get to the SECCG, not win it.

The offense certainly would've looked different.

So, you think our series with Florida is significant? Shall we talk about our series with Auburn? Isn't that significant?

Seems y'all have tons of injuries all the time. Soft?

Thre is no doubt he has issues, but he seems to learn from his mistakes. He learned from his LSU mistake of letting off the pedal.

And he has gotten you guys in position to go very far on three different occasions, so there is that. I know he must be frustrating at times for you guys, but he has had pretty decent success. A lot of other SEC teams would love to have the success Auburn has had. If you can just end the roller coaster ride and become more consistent.
You seem to be getting some pretty decent running backs and QB's in recruiting this year. That seems to have been a part of the problem. Now if he can bring in the much needed depth at those positions.

Quit your whining:

Many of our players were hurt going into au in 2013.
Todd gurley tore his acl vs au in 2014.
Nick Chubb tore his knee a month before au in 2015.
Jacob Eason got hurt 2 months before au in 2017.
Sony Michel got knocked out of the seccg in 2017.

Next man up.

Since 2007:

Uga vs uf: 5-6
Uga vs au: 9-3

We survived GT this year healthy.

But come on. No one wants to play GT ever for the sole reason of players coming out injured.

GT at the end of the season forces our coaches to teach our DL to be on roller skates in order to protect their knees.

The bullshite that comes out or Auburn is laughable. Auburn has lost the last 2 to GT. And you probably limped out of those games, as well.

He did.

We had carter go out for a hit as well. Everyone was fine by the next week, though.

They weren't "fine" if we are going by puppets standards for being hurt.

It is not just the week before the UGA game, it is the gauntlet of the West. LSU, MSU and Ark are usually very physical teams compared to TN (lately), Vandy, Missouri and even UK and USC. Freeze had Ole Miss play with physical style also. The only team that plays like most teams in the West has been UF.

True. But we aren't auburn.

You are either hurt or injured. In November, everyone has been hurt. Only Auburn seems to confuse the two and wet the bed every year.

Go back and look at 2014 and see the Gauntlet of the West, especially after the Playoff poll was released the first time.

I think AU would easily be undefeated this year if they played UGAs schedule.

You know...this is the first time I've seen you have a good conversation without crapping on Georgia.

That said, we played Auburn twice and MState this year, along with Florida, and Notre Dame, which is a physical team. That would be 5 pretty physical games. While GT is not really good, they are physical in that their chop blocks tend to get players injured, so I would say 6 physical games for us.

Nobody will argue that the West is a better division, and you played Clemson on top of that. Clemson's front 7 is no joke, particularly their DLine.

Absolutely the West was an absolute meat grinder in recent years, but it simply isn't nearly as good today. MState was not very good. LSU was decent. Auburn and Alabama was legit. We played two of the top 4 teams from the West, and have a shot to play a third. It's not like we don't schedule tough opponents. Well, next year will be an easy schedule, considering, but we will still play Auburn and LSU from the West.

Injuries are apart of football. If Auburns football team isnt deep, theyre not going to win against quality teams. It doesnt help they suck awsy from home, and gus gets titght under pressure
