I like how no one is bringing up that Henry ran 38 TIMES.

Thirty-eight!

If DHenry was LFs height, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Since we aren't your rivals, I'm confused why you are dedicating so much of your day to thinking about LSU.

quote:

Les Miles has used Fournette to try and capitalize on the same formula that others in the B1G and the Big12 have used in the past – inflated numbers against weak competition.

If you think Les Miles uses Fournette for anything other than what he thinks he needs to do in order to achieve victory, then I don't know what to tell you.

Miles may be stubborn with his tactics but everything he does is with one goal and only one goal in mind.

Well, to quote them side by side -

DHenry was at 19 carries, 91 yards, 2 TD at the 6:25 mark in the third quarter

LFournette was at 19 carries, 31 yards 1 TD for the game.

If that makes you feel better.

Perhaps if Fournette had rushed 19 more times he could have doubled his total 62 yards. However, the game would have been extended an additional 60 minutes. I don't think anyone was interested in doing that.

Feel free to check my post history if wish, I welcome LSU as a rival. It's like have Cousin Eddie over every time you come to town.

Fournette is simply a serviceable back that hadn't faced any competition until Saturday night.

You're not nearly as smart or observant as you think you are, gump moron. To waste that much time typing a 1,200 word essay crawfishing, making assumptions, and making loose connections to call Fournette an "average back who has exploited his weak competition" is sad and idiotic. Not even sure how to respond to that

Good God man really? Bama had the ball for 40 fricking minutes to 20. Henry carried the ball 38 times to 19 for Fournette. Yes Bama played their asses off and deserved the win. Henry is a stud and I think you will find out that most responsible LSU fans said this. But to sit here and say that Fournette is a serviceable back? Didn't Henry have an amazing 50 yards against ULM?

I agree with everything you just typed. Good post. L5U is going to lose to the hogs and it's because Brandon Harris is the worst QB in the SEC.

Who still had more starts than our starting qb, but keep going. LSU is most likely going to run the table, arkansas, ole miss and tamu are not much better, possibly worse than UF, USC, BAMA, State and Auburn. Does that stretch really look much harder than the one they just went 4-1 in? no.

You're missing the point.

Everyone is lauding Henry for destroying our defense and getting 200 yards but forgetting that it took him 38 fricking carries to do so. Dude ran the ball 40 times against a defense that was completely spent and still barely scraped out 200 yards.

All of this Bama bandwagon stuff is seriously getting on my fricking nerves. Where was Damien Harris? Was Saban that fixated on getting Henry into the Heisman talk that he made him run his legs off?

When Henry is getting stonewalled against Mississippi State because he's fricking spent, be free to come back to this thread and post his rushing totals against LSU again.

Stats don't lie Drac...

I'm just trying to help a brother out. Help you get beyond the delusion and back into reality. November is going to be a trying time for you. As a Bammer, you can count on me to help you through it. The Piggies, on the other hand, will want blood and there's blood in the water.

The fact is we were only 14 down with 9 minutes left to go in the game. So I ask you did Bama truly dominate this game as much as it looked? By no means am I making excuses but Bama gets a gift wrapped FG to end the half and a INT which leads to 7 points to start the second half. 10 point swing right there for a game when you look at the stats looks like they would have won by 30.

They are a fool if they think they are just going to walk into Starkvegas and get a win along with going to the Plains when we know anything can happen there!

Yup. He had 13 carries for 52 yards. Played sparingly due to having tonsillitis that week and to rest for the UGA game.

You're forgetting KDrake with 68 yards and QB that ran over LB like he was an Auburn lineman. Drake hasn't had 68 yards combined all season and he danced around the 6th ranked rush D like it was... Auburn.

I'm trying to help you face the reality that is coming the next two weeks, not flame or troll you. The Toddies and Piggies will do enough of that.
