The Top 25 means nothing, it's an opinion.
SOS is a calculated thing base don logic/reason, and you're trying to argue it works a certain way that it actually doesn't.

So SOS is logical based on wins and losses correct?
SEC scheduling is avoiding an extra 7 GUARANTEED LOSSES to its participants. YOU GUYS ARE LITERALLY DUMB AF.
Is SOS BASED ON WINS AND LOSSES? If YES, WE NEED TO THEN LOOK AT OPPONENTS W/L? IF YES, we then need to look at their schedule.... YES? WINS AND LOSSES MATTER ROFL

7 confetence losses also equals 7 comference wins because each game has a winner and loser. Againstbquality opponents this only increases SOS regardless of a win or loss. So basically unless you’re Vandy or Arky, this would help.

7 guaranteed losses means middling teams get bumped from the Top 25. If SEC has 9 conference games, three SEC teams are bumped from TOP 25. comprende?

The polls are not meaningless; perception is reality. They don’t put SOS rankings in front of the team on ESPN.

The most basic SOS is based on that PLUS your opponent's opponent W/L. You continue to fail to recognize that. No SOS metric is "your opponent's W/"L" and that's it. That would mean playing a 6-6 mid-major is the same as playing a 6-6 power 5 team, it's not. That's why there's more to it than you keep failing over and over to understand.
So AGAIN, if the SEC dropped a cupcake OOC game for another conference game, the SOS would only GO UP as you are playing likely another quality opponent who in general played quality opponents.
These are not difficult concepts to understand. Playing a better team > Playing a worse team in SOS.
Nobody gives a shite about the Top 25, it's a complete opinion.

What you don’t understand is that the SEC plays other SEC teams 8 times; if all of those teams run a schedule that bends the rules to allow them into higher win totals.... THE ENTIRE SOS RANKING IS FLAWED SINCE THE MAJORITY OF THE SAMPLE POOL IS ALL FLAWED

Agian, this is simple stuff, playing better teams HELPS YOUR SOS NOT HURT IT
According to you, the SEC should just play 4 Sun Belt teams OOC, never lose an OOC game, and the SOS would be sky high, it doesnt work that way.

If you are so concerned about how the SEC rankings are inflated based on W/L, why not look at SEC teams’ record against nonconference opponents. You can limit it to only power 5 if it makes you feel better. If we are truly an average conference we should have .500 or so record against everyone else, right? If our record is better than others, doesn’t that mean everyone else sucks?
