One year ago today Devon Still was a top ten in the mocks, after opening the season making the Alabama center look like a girl he still drooped falling late in round two @ 53

I was wondering where Mingo was on the list. I think he'll go first round with Montgomery, albeit later than Sam.
Mathieu will be a first round pick as well..yes the guy is undersized but he makes twice as many plays as most guys much bigger than him

What does Lattimore do so much better than every other RB in college football? He doesn't stand out THAT much. This is what it takes to be THAT HIGH of a draft pick as a RB. I'm not saying he isn't very good - he is, but it's not like the guy isn't anything we haven't seen before, and recently. He's not as good as Trent Richardson (Who went #3) and there's other RBs out there who have a similar resume as Lattimore (and some without the bad injury).
I don't see an NFL taking that big a risk on a RB, especially one hurt as bad as he was and doubly on the fact Lattimore hasn't been that OMG outstanding RB that it would take to be drafted that high. Lattimore against SEC defenses has just been mostly average.

You made sense till you posted this. The kid is very talented and good.
I didn't say he wasn't, but we're not talking about just very talented and good, we're talking about best RB prospect in several years GREAT to be taken #2 overall. I don't see that in him.

That's a terrible list.

He is an exciting college player. I don't see a team using a first round pick on a guy like him. Hell, I could be wrong..but is a team gonna give 1st round money to a guy in hopes that he strips 3 balls a game?

Sadly TM7's size will keep him from being a number one as the NFL gets bigger his value drops.
The only way he sees round 1 is if some fool like Belichik decides he wants him as a return threat

Alabama's center was 6'0. There were several people that made him look like a girl

I'll be shocked if TM7 goes first round. Especially if teams start throwing AT him like Bama did in the BCSNC game. 6'1 Kevin Norwood posterized him more than once. What does Calvin Johnson do to him?

Late 1st, at best unless somebody reaches.
David Amerson should be the only corner talked about when talking about a top 15 pick.

That's a really bad list IMO.

I'm not saying he will/won't be a 1st round pick (borderline IMO) but Mathieu to the guy earlier who said he's "5'7 on a good day" is stretching that down way too much. He's probably about 5'8, maybe some change either way. Short for a CB but nothing we haven't seen before. On top of that he's definitely a good cover corner, not great but certainly doesn't get exposed on a regular basis at all. He still has had 4 picks so he doesn't just live off his 11 forced fumbles and 8 fumble recoveries. He also has 14 pass breakups. Mathieu is also a GREAT tackler, despite his smaller size, he has had no problem tackling whoeverout...127 tackles in 2 years, 9 behind the line of scrimmage (taking out sacks). He makes tackles all over the field. On top of all that he adds a lot of value in the return game.

Don't get your feelings hurt Bama won 43 out of the 44 matchups. I did not know Nick Saban gives inferior kids playing time cause he likes them.

That's the thing with Lattimore, it's not like he does one thing better than most RB's, he does nearly everything better than most. He has hands like a WR, great size, strong, rarely gets tackled for a loss, and his only real knock is the fact that he doesn't have that impressive breakaway speed but neither does Trent. Lattimore is a workhorse that can hurt you out of the backfield.

Yeah, but he's built like an NFL back, and should be drafted pretty high, but first round shocks me.
He has been horrible in pass blocking situations, is obnoxiously fumble prone because he doesn't carry the ball high and tight, and can't catch the ball that well. He is really fast, really big, and has had some really big games, but he would have to play a lot better to warrant being the second or third back taken in the draft, imo.
I would say Sean Porter is more likely to be drafted in the first round than, Christine Michael, but we will see.

Wait, none from Bama? Must be a mistake.

He fears only one thing...Greg Reid.

Huh, weird list. None of the 4-5 first rounders Bama will have next year.
