If you have 1 relative playing for SEC school A, another playing for SEC school B, and another playing for SEC school C, you wind up supporting all of them. If I grew up a Tiger (LSU) fan but my kid played for Auburn I am gonna root for Auburn where my kid goes. If the Thanksgiving dinner table may be 1/3 Auburn and 2/3 LSU but we are all still 100% kin.
