I just listened to an interview with Brad Edwards of ESPN. Assuming Fla. St., OSU, Ok. St. win this weekend, then which 4 teams would be in the playoff?

According to Edwards, it would be Fla. St., OSU and the SEC champs (Auburn or Missouri). The final team would be decided between Bama and Ok. St.

Since the committee's selection criteria is to emphasize strength of schedule, conference championships and common opponents, Oklahoma St. would be the 4th team selected. Oklahoma St. has played a tougher schedule, beat a common opponent (Miss. St.) by more than Bama, and most importantly is a conference champion.

The rules are changing next year.

So they'd take a Okie St. team that lost to West Virginia (4-8 this year).....yeah...right!

These would be the right four teams:

FSU (if they beat Duke)
tOSU/Mich St winner
MU/Auburn winner
Ok State (if they beat OU)

There's no one left out in this scenario who has an elite win to hang their hat on IMO. Your resume includes quality wins FWIW
