I get that these are the three closest/rivalries, but getting MSU and Tennessee in their current state feels weak.
If Tennessee gets back to former glory, then sure, but until then it's begging for cries of "easy mode"

I have a hard time believing they would use the # of games played as a criteria. It's well known Ole Miss avoided playing Alabama, and other SEC teams with a pulse, as much as possible until the league finally forced them to. I can't see the league now turning around and rewarding them for their cowardice through so many decades.
