Could be that they wanted to save Lampkin's arm for game 2 and 3? With Sdao out, the room for error is minimal. If we can get away with not using Aschenbech at all even better.

Still interesting to pull the starter doing well so early. They really didn't want Florida to see him a 2nd time I guess?
Cortez looks awesome, but it's only the 4th inning?
I guess it's smart if you can limit those big bats a 2nd time through the lineup. Keep their confidence down.

We need to put up 3 more runs and put some real distance up. With the way Cortez is throwing, and Ash available, we’d be in really great shape.
