Proof that most Bama fans are mostly sidewalk fans who never played any real sports in their lives. Anyone played sports in this country growing up has great respect for America's past time sport regardless if you like to watch it or not.

Pittman's first year was 2020, which was an all SEC year. No out of conference, and he took over a team that had gone 2-10 back to back years with no SEC wins.
Heupel had the luxury of playing teams like Bowling Green, Tennessee Tech and South Alabama in Year 1.

This is incorrect. That 2000 team was championship level talent wise. It's failures were noted and a big reason why some started to turn on Fulmer. However, the Vols decline began in 08. From 08 to the present has been shite.

Maybe everyone just needs a preseason champ out of Knoxville so bad, they’re willing to suspend disbelief to make it happen. Maybe do your job, Vols fans, and we won’t have to.
