We didn't have an AD at that time. Jeff Long was fired in November 2017 and then Bert after the Missouri game. Chad was hired by a search committee of former players of different sports. They had no idea what they were doing because Chad was hired before Hunter Yuracheck. So Hunter didn't even hire Chad.

Chad lost the team from the very first day. He told them that he wouldn't be here if you guys were any good. He took a team that was just burned out and made them toxic.
So yes I believe had Bert was given the next year, he would had them going bowling. Chad was really that bad.
