Benny Snell is on pace to have 1,620 yards this year and 4,000 yards in 3 years. That would make him a top 10 running back in the SEC dating back to 1956.
It would make him top 10 in rushing yards; not a top-10 running back.

Maybe...on 50 carries. He's a good volume rusher.

Have UGA fans just forgotten how Chubb and Michel were used? I know they rotated pretty frequently. Imagine having Snell in that rotation. All this 3rd string talk is BS. The most successful running teams have a rotation of 1a/1b/ and sometime 1c.
Swift was the 3rd string rb last year. Looked badass. No bs. Holyfield was our 4th best back. No bs. Point is, badass rbs were clearly behind chubb and Michel, just as snell would have been.

ETA: Also, Whaley has been a huge bust. I thought he would be very good for Arky. He's just soft.
I'd have to agree. He's been okay, but not as good as his ranking was. His freshman year he flashed a lot. Rakeem Boyd who is also on that list has been our best RB this year IMO.
Devin White is obviously a great LB, but I remember watching his highlights at RB since Bielema wanted him to play RB for us and man he just wrecked people

I think Kentucky is really going to struggle against A&M. A&M has forced teams to be one dimensional, and Touchdown Terry isn't Tua.

It's kind of pointless to discuss. He is good no doubt. Imagine what he could do with UGA or Bama's Oline.

You can have your opinion, I would rather have the yards and the wins.

He transferred to FAU and wasn't eligible so he sat out last season.

CJ Freeman never even played for us lol. Way deep on the depth chart

Snell is number one in the SEC. Throw out his monster games against Missouri and he is still number one in the SEC

Why would you think that? Benny has only ever had 1 200 yard game and we have a top rush defense.

quote:I cant answer for Muds reasoning and I'm not predicting the same but Miss State was the #14 rush defense going into that game at 89 yards per game, Texas A&M that same week was 27th against the rush at 109 yards per game, although I think everyone would concede against much better competition. (These stats are from 9/21 Pre Bama)
