Snell would be 4th string at Bama and 3rd string at UGA. Y'all ain't played a team worth a shite. He's good but this hype for him running on shite defenses is getting ridiculous.

If he stayed for his senior year were talking about top 3 ever.
From a yardage standpoint?

He’s not top 10 talent back of the past decade in the SEC.

He may not even be top 50 in the last decade.

So he's just a really good football player? Did not know he was a RB
Yeah he went to the opening and was 6’ 258lbs, ran a 4.55, had a ingest powrball toss and had a 38” vertical.

I remember going to see Shea Patterson his junior year at Calvary Baptist in Shreveport at a big tournament and I called my brother the next day and said the best player in the country was the a monster from tiny Springhill, LA.

I remember a Bama poster asking why he wasn’t a 5* in his recruiting process and no one could answer him.

Devin is a special talent.

Agreed. He was getting so much hype I watched his highlights.

I don’t see anything special. He’s good but he’s not a Fournette, Henry, McFadden, Ingram, Guice, Chubb, Michel or Richardson talent.

Reminds me of the kid from Vandy a couple of years ago. Very good college back but not a special talent.

He needs 18 touchdowns to tie the all time SEC record

Ok?

Derrius Guice, Leonard Fournette, Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Derrick Henry, Kerryon Johnson, Alvin Kamara and Darren McFadden are all easily better RBs and it’s not even close.

Racking up rushing TDs against shite competition proves nothing to me.

that list is a good reminder of where our usual high caliber rb is, on defense.

He’s averaged right around 100 yards a game versus UGA the last two seasons.

He’d absolutely start at those programs with that kind of talent around him where he wouldn’t even be carrying the load.

Yes every team he's ever played has been absolutely shite. His freshman year when he averaged 4.9 a carry against Bama... shite. Last year against Georgia? shite. I see what you mean.

He would be right there with Swift and Holyfield fighting for carries in 2018 if at UGA. He could be 1st string, or he could be 3rd string. Playing at UK has been a big benefit for him the past couple of years because he hasnt had to sit behind Chubb or Michel.

And he’s also been the main focus of all defenses at UK

Yes, he has been, but he wouldnt have produced like he has without the carries he has gotten by going to UK rather than a bigger program.

He would have been 3rd string at best in 2016 and 2017, and there is zero guarantee he would be ahead of Swift and Holyfield in 2018.

Don't be disingenuous. It hurts your argument because people stop taking it seriously. Against Bama, he only managed 38 yards at 4.8 a carry. If we're ignoring actual yardage, four Bama rbs averaged more. Against UGA last year, he did manage 94 yards at 4.3 a carry, but UGA had 5 who averaged more, plus Fromm, and 4 of the 6 actually averaged more than twice Snell's numbers. Two of them broke the 60 yard mark in doing so.

Have UGA fans just forgotten how Chubb and Michel were used? I know they rotated pretty frequently. Imagine having Snell in that rotation. All this 3rd string talk is BS. The most successful running teams have a rotation of 1a/1b/ and sometime 1c.
