Sorry, but the the Utah/Bama game was a spanking. You don't think Saban had them fired up? I don't buy that.

frick Utah and any motherfricker claiming the Mountain West is up to par with the Southeastern Conference. We'd roast those fricks.

bama wasnt close to being fired up for that game. I hate bama but even i can admit bama would have skullfricked utah if they were ready.

exactly playing in the mwc and going undefeated is nothing.
half the teams in the conf are rent a wins.
2007 LSU in the mwc would put up video game numbers and be called the greatest team ever.

All I said was that they were a better team.
What units were better between the '07 LSU team and '08 Utah team?
The 2008 SEC conference was down compared to 2007 SEC.
8 teams in the SEC were worse in 2008 than they were in 2007. One of the only teams that got better was Vandy

1 game vs a team that could give a frick > having to play a whole sec schedule

Bama was clearly deflated in the sugar bowl. They lost the title and then fatass decided to frick his team over. Utah comes out hot and runs away and hides from bama
Kinda the same thing that happened to Oklahoma the year before in the Fiesta w/t Boise St. What sucks is it gives legs to the argument that these school deserve credit or metioning in the same breath as the big boys. Bama and Okla. had already cashed their seasons in by the time the bowl game got there, where as UTAH/Boise St. were getting ready to play their superbowl. Of course if a Bamer says this he is just making excuses so thanks hbtiger for stating this.

Yea, and only one of them was from 2007. 2008 Utah was just as impressive in their bowl game.
Smells liked chapped arse.

Shhh. He's on a roll. He doesn't realize that he's finally saying what we've been saying for months.
That...or he's drunk.

I'll agree with you the SEC was way down last season. The 2007 AU team could have won the West last season with Brandon Cox at the helm. I think you'll see a stronger top to bottom SEC next season.

really? bc i said bama would beat down utah before the game. I never claimed that utah was a better team than bama. I think you are confused as frick

I don't think anyone is arguing that, I think people are saying it would be possible for Utah to beat that LSU team. I'm not talking full SEC schedules, etc; a single game matchup Utah could win. To think it's ridiculous that LSU could lose to Utah seems a bit arrogant.
but a few posters are saying that 2008 Utah was better than the 2007 LSU team, meaning not only would they have beaten LSU, they would have fared better with the same schedule in 2007. That's what a better team would have done, right?
