Link to the committee taking a 10-2 non conference champ over a 10-2 conference champ? Fresno State went 11-3 that year so it's not the gotcha you think it is.

Actually it is. 2 losses in conference and they lost at home. But like I said Big 12 probably had no business in the top 4 but that’s hindsight. I’d take a loss to fringe top 25 rival SEC over a loss to Fresno State any day.

Actually I didn’t. You were the one who brought up the BCS and committee picks matching. I never brought up the AP poll as you suggested.

I really don't think UT will ever get back to where they once were. They're our Nebraska.
The last 15 years, their leadership has lurched from one mistake to the next. Like a drunk falling over every piece of furniture on the way out the door.
UT use to be one of the few programs that recruited nationally. Now everyone does. They also have ridiculous expectations that don't correlate with the reality.
I think UK will make a playoff before UT does. They'll probably be searching for a new HC next year.

Even UF had a better claim than that Colorado team. There’s a reason Nebraska played Miami and not the Buffs.

Just an opinion, we will win the East before UT does again. You guys as a program are a disorganized mess.
