The new rule this year is the appeal always goes to which ump is on the line regardless of R or L handed batter. It literally is the dumbest rule change ever.

Um yes I do actually watch baseball. And leftys get checked by the third base ump. Seeing as he was in the middle of the infield he is not able to make the call. So what makes the first base ump capable of making the call on a lefty?
