Actually, I think it has way more to do with his refusing to admit that he has been wrong about Stansbury for as long as anyone on this board has known him and 601.

According to some of the Alabama folks, Grant has allowed the personalities on the team destroy what should be a good team and a better season. Any of that shite sound familiar to you in our case, Bundy?

Wait. Everyone wanted to suck AG's dick before this season. He was supposed to be the coach who could do it right.

Has anyone ever considered it's the type of kid in the south that causes these types of issues? Lots of talent, little discipline.

I'm trying to think of a perennial contender in the deep south. Memphis is the only one that comes to mind and they were only recently successful under Cal who recruited on a national level(rarely recruited Memphis kids).

Thoughts?

I have and understand it because I have gone to HS and played ball with those types of kids.

I'm not sure DiamondDawg understands how difficult to manage 15 different players with HUGE egos and have been told how good they are all of their life.

But then again he'd kick them off the team and play Princeton style basketball in the SEC

Newsflash that doesn't work in the SEC.

Try managing 3,500 or so (indirectly) under about 40 different cost centers and get back with me.

Not even comparable. Those guys get paid, college basketball players don't. Plus you may personally know just a few of those 3,500 you mention.

Big difference between managing ove people you never have spoken to and don even know their name as compared to 15 players between 18-22 you see and interact with 3-5 hours a day

Like everything else you make excuses for Stansbury, this is just another cop out. If he can't figure out what to do with a lazy arse player and another player (Wendell Lewis) who is playing better and the players around him play better when he is in then he has actually totally lost control of everything around him.
I would stand Lewis and Sidney side by side and tell Lewis he is playing well and has earned the start and he needs to play as hard as he can play. Turn to Sidney and tell him that if he wants his spot back, work hard and earn it.

YES! DRILL SERGEANT DIAMONDDAWG!

If it were only that easy. If you were our coach we'd be 21-0 and ranked number 1 in America.

Actually, we wouldn't be having problems with Sidney this year. He would have gotten better last year or I would have run his arse off. I am not sure what our record would be but at least I would have some self respect about not pandering to some titty baby.

And who would play for Moultrie and Lewis if they got in foul trouble or needed a breather?

So you think we should have kicked Sidney off the team? Without him we have ZERO post depth.

I'm not saying that. I'm saying that, at this point, every nba scout thinks he's a cancer. He needs a wake up call and he hasn't gotten it by being coddled his entire career at MSU.

Who would have given Moultrie and Lewis a breather had Sidney broken and ankle in Summer ball?

Enablers like you is what's wrong with people like Sidney.

I'm a fan of Mississippi State University, our players, and players. By supporting our TEAM, you consider I'm enabling Sidney.

Not sure if you watched the game last night but John Lucas was there, I guess hum working with Sid is enabling him as well. Also, Stans said Sid was sick last night as well. Everybody has a bad game every now and then, but with Sid it's magnified 100x's when he ha a bad game. Even if we win.

People blindly supporting things because they think that they are "supposed to" is dangerous. Sometimes a change is needed.

We are 17-4 and ranked 16th in America. I don know another top 25 team in the nation hat has their fan base saying Change is needed.

Some of you guys just can't be happy or proud of our success for anything.
