Why dont you post the head to head record since the SEC became a conference
Thanks to Michigan, they have a winning overall record conference wise. 98-92-7 since the SEC was formed in 1933.

Big 10 19-31 in bowl games the last 7 years. One winning bowl season. Yeah, the big 10 is one tough conference.

Trust me, you are wrong. I said head to head, which was teams that were members of those conferences at that time. Basically for example, you cant put PSU in the talks until the early 90's when they joined the Big 10. You cant include USCe or Arkansas until 1991 since they joined the SEC in 91. You also have GT who was a member of the SEC for 30+ years.
Head to head, the SEC is 67-48-2 vs. the Big 10
Head to head in bowl games the SEC is 33-20 vs. the big 10 up until 2007. I dont know the bowl record the last 3 years head to head. Dont have time to look.

Going that route, then yeah, my numbers won't match up. There's been several teams that played each other, but not in the current conferences they're in, so in that respect you're correct. However, if you take who is current members and their overall record against who is current members against the others, it comes up to the numbers I provided. I figured overall records would be fair enough.

where in the post you quoted is the word 'if'. he wasn't talking hypotheticals, he's simply saying that LSU ran a train on tOSU and the game was over early.

that's a pretty shitty record when you consider that your co-champ is playing against our #4 seed like this year in the cap one game.
what's your record whenever your #1 plays our #1.
that's the only one that holds water.

Here's all the games from the 1998 season to now. I'm tallying down the score of wins and losses, but eliminating the Michigan>Vanderbilt types, where one team is placed higher in its conference than the other. To balance out the numbers, I count #6 and #7 in the SEC as equals, and count #8 in the SEC as #7 in the Big Ten, #9 as #8, #10 as #9, etc...
1/1/2: 1 Illinois < 1 LSU SEC
9/19/98: 7 Indiana < 6 Kentucky
9/19/99: 8 Indiana < 6 Kentucky
9/16/00: 9 Indiana < 12 Kentucky SEC
12/1/1: 4 Indiana > 11 Kentucky
9/14/2: 10 Indiana < 8 Kentucky
9/20/3: 9 Indiana < 10 Kentucky SEC
9/18/4: 10 Indiana < 11 Kentucky SEC
9/17/5: 10 Indiana > 9 Kentucky B10
1/1/4: 4 Iowa > 4 Florida B10
1/2/6: 3 Iowa < 5 Florida SEC
1/1/5: 1 Iowa > 3 LSU
1/1/9: 4 Iowa > 5 South Carolina B10
1/1/0: 2 Michigan > 1 Alabama B10
1/1/99: 1 Michigan > 3 Arkansas
1/1/1: 1 Michigan > 2 Auburn
1/1/3: 3 Michigan > 2 Florida B10
1/1/8: 2 Michigan > 4 Florida
1/1/2: 2 Michigan < 2 Tennessee SEC
9/2/6: 2 Michigan > 11 Vanderbilt
1/1/0: 2 Michigan State > 2 Florida B10
1/1/9: 3 Michigan State < 3 Georgia SEC
12/31/4: 8 Minnesota > 7 Alabama B10

9/4/10: 7 Northwestern > 11 Vanderbilt
1/8/7: 1 Ohio State < 1 Florida SEC
1/7/8: 1 Ohio State < 1 LSU SEC
1/1/1: 4 Ohio State < 3 South Carolina SEC
1/1/2: 3 Ohio State < 4 South Carolina SEC
9/11/10: 3 Penn State < 5 Alabama SEC
1/1/3: 4 Penn State < 4 Auburn SEC
1/1/99: 5 Penn State > 6 Kentucky B10
1/1/10: 2 Penn State > 3 LSU B10

1/1/5: 3 Wisconsin < 3 Georgia SEC
1/1/8: 4 Wisconsin < 2 Tennessee
SEC 18
Big Ten 12
Basically, when matched straight up, the SEC wins 60% of the time. It is absolutely clear that the SEC is better than the Big Ten by a considerable margin.

Its not about the Big 10, its about their traditional powerhouse school.
Dude... 0 and 9.
The moment Ohio State gets west of Colorado or south of Missouri they shite their pants and start shaking like my dog in a thunderstorm.

It's all about whether you want to be consistently mediocre or the best. That's the point of this thread. Once you get out of the BCS bowls; motivation becomes a tricky thing.
