I’m assuming this is sarcasm? William Wade’s shitty tigers would’ve beat the Vols by 20 tonight with the way they shot against Memphis.

And it wasn’t good defense. UT had wide open shots from 3 all game long. That was bad.

And that was the plan. This was talked about during their radio broadcast and was mentioned by Penny before the game. Close down driving and passing lanes and force them to shoot 3s. It worked.

I am cackling at this. Not sure which part is more laughable, the idea of AAU Penny actually scheming up a gameplan or that plan involving a 50% 3PT shooter getting wide open looks all day
