Yet I fail to see how in 2011 that LSU was screwed over. You guys were put into the championship game.
All you had to do was win. You had your chance at greatness and failed.

Bama and an inept PK game, plus a questionable goal line INT choked the first game away.
Second game was the same as the first, with fewer missed scoring opportunities for Bama.
I hate the "mulligan" excuse. It is cheap and easy.
There is little finality in a single contest athletics match among equivalent teams. That is why series are popular in other sports. And, guess what, rematches happen in the playoffs... even a final 2 version of a playoffs (BCS). It reduces the importance of the regular season. The more teams in the playoffs, the more diluted it gets. It's a fact to deal with, sorry.

LSU could beat Bama for the next 50 years, but it will never wipe away the embarrassment of being whipped in the Superdome that night.

Bama & Lsu playing twice in 11 was the tipping point to a 4 team playoff as the Pac 12 and Big 10 were against it until we had an all SEC Championship.So for most Lsu fans saying they got screwed it was all worth it to be where we're at today.
