Considering their record they deserve it more than any other team in the country.
Beat Texas on the road and Florida at home. Two top ten wins (although Texas might not finish there). No one else has the resume so far.

Can we wait until the bye week and stay undefeated against State and Auburn before declaring ourselfs #1. It is not like we have an easy road to stay undefeated like the gumps.
