Arkansas bails them out with big wins over powerhouses Kentucky and Auburn

That's almost not mathematically possible this late in the year.

For comparison sake: LSU's SEC Opponents combined record is 12-9.

Every year is different. Until last year, Miles hadn't had an undefeated regular season. The year before, Auburn won a BCS trophy... You just never know... but it's silly to say that Ole Miss wouldn't because of their past history.

Miles has only been a head coach for 10 years before that. Nowhere near the same sample size(also a much more difficult accomplishment).

I'm saying that over the past 50 years, Ole Miss has had many schedules that were easier than our current one, and they've failed to get it done. What is to say that would change this year? To say that they would have "likely" done so is ignoring 50 years of data that says otherwise. It's tantamount to Mississippi State fans claiming they would "likely" win the SEC, because we did once in 70 years ago...All the data at hand says it is quite the opposite - very unlikely.

I doubt that. And don't bring up 2009 because we had Alabama and South Carolina in our first 5 games.

This seriously might be the easiest opening 7 games in the history of the SEC. I'd like for you to show me one easier.

No one is doing that. There are mountains of evidence from THIS season with which to fight that battle. No need to go to history.

So much butthurt for MSU's record.

What are MSU fans supposed to do? Apologize because the teams we've beaten suck?

We were grinding before the season, so it should come to no surprise we are grinding now that we are 7-0.

Guess what. Bama can't stop the grind. They can beat the shite out of us, but we'll still grind on.

Let's see what Bama's 4 SEC opponents have done so far within the conference...
Ark. 2-2
TSUN 1-2
Missouri 0-4
UT 0-4

A combined record of 3-12. Now let's break that down even further.
2 o f those 3 wins are against the same opponent,AU
Ark 2 wins are to AU 0-5 & UK 0-5
TSUN's 1 win is to AU 0-5

What part of that resume is any better?
