fricking Illinois education.

Hate to break it to you. The Illinois job is just an average P5 job as well. You're in the shadows of tOSU, UM, MSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana and Purdue in the Big 10. Oh, and Maryland now too.

Mobile with autocorrect, bruh.

Illinois has an athletic department that is in the shite hole right now. They botched the renovations of the football stadium. The basketball team has been getting worse each year since 2005. Both major sports coaches need replaced.

It's a joke of a program. No argument from me there.

Coleman Coliseum isn't THAT bad. You act like the arena Wichita State plays in is Madison Square Garden. Next you're going to tell us how much better Wichita State's campus, athletic department, and school is than Alabama...lol.

Coleman is fine. It's just the sight lines that are a problem because of the way it was configured. I wouldn't call it a shite hole though.

By Bama Standards.

Gregg is use to coaching in front of crowds at a relevant school playing relevant games.

So we should hire Gregg and become that, again.

Not sure what your point is.

You really are an insecure little man aren't you? You're school is so irrelevant currently in just about every sport.

That happens when stepping stone schools lose their coach who brought that brief moment of sunshine upon their program to a better school.

Yes.

Good track and field results. Not so much for team sports.

That again?

You have never been relevant in basketball, Gottfried was the closest to achieving this before taking his talents to NC State.

That coach was fired and is now at Kansas State. Although he won with mostly Self recruits. Most schools are stepping stones to Kansas, Duke, UK, and UNC.

I feel your pain with our D2 coach currently.

Exactly. I went to games at Coleman as a little kid throughout the 80s and early 90s and the place was loud as f### during many games. The myth that Alabama doesn't care and doesn't show up for games is just that....a myth. If the team is even close to being a potential tourney team we average over 13,000.

Track and Field NCs are team accomplishments.

Losing coaches to other schools is a stepping stone accomplishment.

See my recent post calling the whole athletic department at Illinois shitty. My argument has never been Illinois over another school.

I would be pro returning Illinois and Missouri series in St Louis. Lopsided football results, but could be a good rivalry if Illinois every figured it out.

You're f###in clueless. Alabama was actually at a higher more consistent level throughout the 70s, 80s, and early to mid 90s than when Gottfried was there. At least do some very basic research before running your uninformed pie hole.

You mean to tell me that a good team brings more crowd energy than an Anthony grant coached team averaging 50PPG? I had no idea. Maybe we should try to find a new coach that's better at his job
