Need more info... Price ranges? What area of town? What do you like doing?

Platinum Plus is off of Greystone Blvd, there's even a Waffle House close by to it.

Go to the Vista if you're 30+ for drinks and socializing, park near Gervais and Park St, and walk around until you find a bar you like.

If you are under 30, go to 5 Points. If you are over 30 and looking to bang a college chick, go to 5 Points.

I don't have the details yet but, it's business so it can all be written off meaning budget is pretty up there if needed.

Thanks for the tips and lastly give me a good BBQ spot if you don't mind.

I'm assuming you're staying downtown so head to the Vista and pick one of the many options. Yall want steak? Seafood? Casual atmosphere?

Palmetto Pig or Little Pigs if you don't mind driving a little ways out of the city. Both have buffets if you're hungry.

There's an old thread with a bunch of restaurant recs from a while ago. I would link but I'm on mobile.

Check out Mr Friendly's as a place to eat. The menu is online and you can see if the type of food you or your associates might enjoy.

BBQ. If you don't want to drive all the way out to Leesville, you can stop by Palmetto Pig
https://www.palmettopig.com/ They season but don't sauce the pork before hand, so you can choose what type of sauce you like. (they usually have a mustard, ketchup and vinegar sauce out.)

If the weather is nice and you want to go to 5 Points to get some food:

Harper's is good, american cuisine, steak, but the best part is the patio when the weather is nice. You can see the talent walking around 5 Points.

Same thing for Saluda's but the views of 5 Points are even better.

Bar in 5 Points:
Delaney's - sense you said it was a business trip or whereever you follow datass of that girl into. (Is Jake's Back Porch in 5 Points, still around, I haven't been there in a few years?)

Pawley's Front Porch in 5 Points also has good burgers.

If you're in the Vista

Check out the Flying Saucer for drinks. School girls and lot of beers on tap. There are many bars around there, you'll find one you like just by walking around.

Also over in the Vista you have the Blue Marlin for Seafood, and The Oyster Bar. Restorante Divino is also in the Vista and it's fine dining Italian.

I'd add Oak Table (across Gervais from the State House) and Motor Supply for restaurants in the Vista. Haven't eaten at the former myself, but I've heard really good things, but the Latter is always good.

Art Bar (alternative), Social (preppy/fratty), Tin Roof (college crowd) and World of Beer (Mix) should run the gamut for bar scene in the Vista as well.

There's a new steakhouse on Lincoln street ( Carolina Strip Club) that looks pretty nice as well.

That's what I'm talking about! I can't go wrong with a few of those selections and will check out Pawleys front porch while there.

I'm hoping the Falcons draft Clowney but we will see.

It's been really nice outside for the past few days, no wonder I listed a bunch of places that have outdoor access/seating. When I used to live in Cola this was the type of evening I would sit out on the patio at Harper's and drink before going out to the other bars.

Also is New Orleans still open over in Cayce, right on the river? I used to go over to Mangi Mangi or New Orleans a few times. I understand Mangi closed and is now Terra though, but I've forgotten about New Orleans until right now, they had great views of the river.

Question is their a relationship between our 5 points and their 5 points, or anywhere's five points for that matter that has a large concentration of rainbows or something....

I don't know, we call it 5 Points b/c 5 streets intersect in that bar/shopping district. There are just a bunch of college-age crowd bars down there.

Our five points in Atlanta is just a bunch of weird looking artsy folks and a few left over Hippies from the 70's.

It's all good<
