Not too funny considering he had an accident as a kid and the lines in his hairline are the scars from surgery.

Understood. I thought he was being funny and shaved them in his head at first too. Then I heard it talked about during the LSU/Bama game and looked it up.

It sucks that it did not work out.

It's prolly best for all involved, however.

May the Justin Thomas era begin.

Is he trying to get out of the Triple Option, or is he at odds with PJ?

I dunno what's going down..

but I do not see him as a pure dual threat & the QB job would be open again for J Thomas & I think there's interest from East Carolina for Vad

I was hoping for Vad.. He's a good one, imo

The whole rotation was f'cked up when the Dawgs scammed Nick Marshall into playing cornerback... Otherwise, Marshall would be running the triple-O at Tech and Vad would be playing QB for Duke.

Damn

I think UGA has payed for it dearly already, it just wasn't at the hands of Tech.

The Music Bowl apparently marks the end of the Vad Lee era at Georgia Tech. Multiple sources informed Jacketsonline Thursday evening that Lee plans to leave the Yellow Jacket program and will transfer elsewhere for his final two seasons of eligibility.
Lee finishes his career with a 7-6 record as a starter but he was a major contributor in the 2012 season coming off the bench behind three-year starter Tevin Washington. Lee rushed for 513 yards averaging just 2.8 yards per carry this season compared to 5.7 last year with 544 yards with 86 fewer carries in 2012. As a passer, Lee threw for 1561 yards completing 45.6-percent of his passes with 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Associated Press

Lee's lackluster performance in the Music City Bowl highlighted was one of many unimpressive performances during the 2013 season.
With Lee out of the quarterback mix, Tech will look to rising sophomore Justin Thomas, former MTSU quarterback Tim Byerly and a pair of freshmen Ty Griffin and Matthew Jordan. Jordan begins classes next week as an early enrollee while Griffin redshirted in 2013.

Sources confirmed with Jacketsonline that Lee will most likely transfer down to a FCS program where he can play immediately since he already burned his redshirt year. Possible destinations for Lee include James Madison, Elon and Richmond, which are all closer to his hometown of Durham. An officially announcement about Lee's transfer could come as early as next week when the football staff returns from vacation.
