Request Access for Patton

First of all, thanks agian to my Mizzou brothers and sisters for granting me access. I was/am truly humbled by the honor and by the faith you have shown in me to not suck up an excellent board.
If I may be so bold, I would like to propose Patton for sponsorship by a Mizzou poster for membership. Patton is an excellent poster, will not flame here, and will be a valuable/friendly addition.
Thank you for your consideration relative to sponsoring Patton.

I was granted access a couple months ago (before the standards were raised).
I have only posted here a handful of times since getting access but hope to be more involved (respectfully) once the season starts (honestly don't have much to add in the offseason and didn't want to be overwhelming right after being granted access).
For those who don't know me, I am a Bama fan that has adopted Mizzou as his second team (this was prior to access to this board and pretty much means I am betting for you guys to beat the spread each week).
I was stoked about Mizzou's addition (somebody had to class this place up) and was disappointed in last season's turn of events (football regular season, basketball postseason)).
I look for a strong rebound in both for Mizzou this coming year.
Like I said, I understand I am not a true Mizzou blue blood so I am only recommending Patton for sponsorship by a blue blood.

I thought I remembered you posting here before. Started to search and decided it wasn't worth the effort. Regardless, welcome.
As for Patton, I think he's a solid poster. I think the best option at this point might be to ask him to hang tight for the time being. Opening up the doors to the Mizzou board is a relatively knew concept and a lot have been granted access recently. It takes some adjusting for all of us, whether in favor of it or not. Just my 2 cents but I still think there needs to be a freeze until after week 1 of the season and then we can maybe discuss others.

I requested access on the help board months ago. There was a vote. IIRC, three to four Mizzou posters supported and no one opposed.

Been no vote on Patton. Garfield was only sponsoring him/her for sponsorship. Not sponsoring him/her for a vote. Like I said above, my personal vote is to put an access freeze on every one for the time being. That's not a yes or no vote from me on any of them, just a, I defer until a later date to vote.

I would not support any known troll, or anyone who has bashed Mizzou in the past. People like that have no business here. I personally welcome fans from other schools who want to talk about Mizzou, as long as they don't troll here. But it's not my decision, and at this point i have no more input that anyone else.

I wasn't aware until this thread that Garfield has access to our board. I've not been the admin here that long. But I have no problems with him posting here. From my interactions with him, he's a good poster.

Im with reedus. We have added a lot and need to pause and see how things go during the football and basketball season before we add more.

Damn my keyboard. I've had enough, gonna get it fixed tomorrow. Have gone months with certain keys sticking and or doubling up letters.. main reason I edit so often.
