What do ya'll think about starting an Angler of the Month Award.
Poster with the best troll of the month gets to use a certain trophy as their avatar or sig pic for the following month.
Trolls will be nominated and voted on on this board.

haha, i like #2. we could have nominations at the end of every month with linked threads and vote for a winner over a couple days span.

Sounds like a great idea. Although if the rant catches on, anyone with that avi will have his threads ignored the following month.

Does any other fanbase organize trolling quite like we do, and then give awards for the best effort? It's truly remarkable. Best in the business here.

I think it's formal name should be the "Pondwater Jack Memorial Angler of the Month" Award

I prefer Angler of the Month. The blatantly obvious about it is what makes it great.
Nominating threads from the month, I'd say the winner should be the tFlagshipper that pisses off the other fanbases the most, creativity, humor, and downright saltiness for bonus points.
Nominations due by the 3rd to the last day of the month, 3 day voting period, Angler of the Month named on the first to carry the honor for the following month.
OT - I need to know if this is a bannable offense to post this in response to C on Z when he inevitably flames us or drops the : yawn : macro like he does all the time.

How bout we start a stickied nomination thread every month and allow links to be nominated throughout the month.
Each troll thread will be named such as Rebound game thread to make voting easy.
A voting thread will be opened the last Tuesday of every month and voting will close at 6PM Central time on Friday.

I think the three day window is fine. on that day someone remember to start a voting/nomination thread on here. then for three days we can either nominate someone (which would count as a vote) or just vote if you don't have anyone to nominate. at midnight of the last day of the month voting ends and winner is announced. he then gets the trophy as his avi for the next month.
