Why are MS car tags so damn expensive?

My LA car tag cost me $2600...that I had to take out in cash, at $200 increments(all $20's), in the NOLA DMV.

Yeah, it was a shocker. I changed from LA to MS my senior year to get instate. Before I graduated, my dad gifted my car to me(while I was still a MS resident). I moved back to LA, so I had to pay a set percentage of my gifted cars original value.

They refuse to let us have the title transferred and make the payments ourselves because it's a gift. Yet, we pay for the tags etc.... I'm past the point of annoyed.

Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight.

You would rather pay the note each month, AND pay for a cheaper tag, than pay for a more expensive tag, once a year?

I didn't use an accountant, it was one of the websites, I believe TaxAct.

Assuming you are white, you must be heavily outnumbered in your department

I felt bad. I had done everthing but one spot so i let her do it and hell fire if she didn't slip and catch her finger on the electric trimmer... I've been joking about it saying "bet you won't criticize how I do it now" she's fine but it scared me at the time

What yall doing tonight? Went to LBs and got 2 pounds of sausage and filled my growler with blue moon and listening to 90s country on the patio while my dog runs around playing. Living the dream

I read that much different than I should have. I'm just glad to hear your junk is still intact.

SO and I road bikes 16 miles then came home and drank a protein shake. Being old and getting back in shape blows.

Actually about to crash.

Drove home from Shrevevegas and fired up the BGE. Smoked some sausage and chicken breasts with a hint of cherry wood. Made a black bean salsa w/some avocado to top off breats with.
