I say keep him. He just needs to quit going after guys locked into the draft.

Incorrect. He still needs to go after them because most seasons, one of the top guys will fall into our laps and baseball is such an odd game, one big time player CAN get you over the hump if things fall right.
What Bianco needs to do is have a fricking backup plan in place when the top 5 in his class are all projected to jump. THAT is his problem. Recruit the top guys because you have to go after talent, but spend the time and effort to identify the 2nd and 3rd tier guys who can fill those spots with quality playing time when the 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounders don't show on campus.

I'd rather 5-6 REALLY GOOD guys every year that will contribute over 1 GREAT guy every 1-4 years ...

He'll get one more year. After next year he'll be gone though. Look who we have coming back...

His buyout is 200,000 right now... Contract is up after next season... Good thing we dont have Boone anymore... He'd sign Mike to a 3 year extension with a $500,000 buyout and fire him next year anyway.

No doubt he'll get another year. Financially, it would be a good time to make a change after next season when the product on the field continues to decline and Bianco's contract is up.

Next season will be the fifth in a row the stadium we built to host regionals will be sitting empty the first weekend in June. Along with a declining on-field product and decreased fan investment, that should force Bjork's hand to make a move.
