I'll even add that maybe (and it's just a suggestion) that the team which votes the Grinder in is responsible for said grinder. We can have and admin tag their avi info with a simple code to show whose responsible.
For ex. If Pank and I vote in Coon, his avi would have something like pnkfip in the bottom somewhere. Same for all the other Grinders and same for OM posters on the Grindrant.
That way, if coonass gets uppity with Reggie, Henry or some other OM poster on the Bearant, it's up to me and Pank to get him back in line, same thing with the others.
The catch? We also hold the banhammer. Only Pank and I can boot his arse and only the other Grinders "supervisors" can have them booted and so on.
Same thing goes for OM posters on the Grindrant.

Have a list if OM posters who would have a vote. Example: 20. Then say each "rushee" has to have 17 yes votes out of the 20 to post on our board. It's just an idea. This is your deal. i just think it might be easier than a draft. Do what you want.

What if we did a draft, 2 rounds, and the took those 16 selections and eliminated 8 of them via your method. This would leave us with 8 that everyone would have had a say in.

Ex. We (OM posters on the Bearant) pick a rush board. For example, rush board might be 10 posters.
Those 10 posters make a list of all Grinders who deserve to be "rushed". They can take suggestions from the rest of the Bearant, or make up their own list. The rush board discusses the merits of each Grinder, one by one and allows commentary from the rest of the Bearant. A vote day is set and the rush board all vote (Rush board needs to be an odd number to avoid ties) on each Grinder on the same day. So after vote day, bids are handed out, Grinders accept or deny bids and we have (however many) new posters on the Bearant.
However, they are only pledges and subject to brutal hazing, name calling, abuse, binge drinking, homoerotic behavior and they are required to do all of our homework.
Then, a few months later, the Grinders who have been good pledges are activated in a ceremony to be outlined later.
Done.
