Sumrall to Kentucky
Losing him hurts bad - coaching and recruiting will take a hit. Luke has done well with his hires though so hopefully that trend will continue

Really massive loss. Oh well. That’s what I get for having a glimmer of excitement for the fall

I didn't really follow Ole Miss football this year like I have in the past but weren't our LB's complete dog shite this last year?

re: Sumrall to Kentucky
Sumrall was in all likelihood the only competent coach on that side of the ball last year and often in talks by fans as someone we’d want to promote to interim DC if we’d had the balls to fire McGriff in-season. Our linebacker play was actually not terrible considering half our backers seem to be converted TEs. Look at Mo Sanogo’s development for starters

It must be. We have now hired Tyrone Nix as LB coach and the guy from North Texas, Jeff Koonz, as ILB coach? Seems weird to have two coaches for four starters. Jeff Koonz

You have a RB coach and a QB coach. thats 1 coaches for 1 starter. Also in this scheme ILB and OLB are completely different positions.
