Pennamon started taking rep at TE on Monday. Apparently he was approached by coaches about moving in order to get him more play time, and he was open to that. Cooley and Pellerin continuing to take reps with first team.

Pellerin and Sam Williams returned from injury and cleared for full contact.

Bryce Matthews and Michael Howard have been rotating between LT and RT, and it sounds like the offensive line in general is shuffling positions to make them more comfortable with having to step in and play a position other than their "dedicated" position. Not sure how reassuring it all sounds.

I read recently Myles Hartsfield compared Jonathan Mingo to AJ Brown in terms of his athleticism and aggressiveness in getting jump balls.

Snoop Conner keeps getting talked about. He took reps with Scottie Phillips.

Sounds like Tisdale is the most established backup QB.

McIntyre ran tackling drills with the defense, particularly along the sideline on how to proper form tackle. "The coach wasn't afraid to make players repeat the drill if they didn't tackle to his liking, but was also complimentary when a player improved on his second rep." I like the sound of this. These guys got to tackle better.

Last note: "Ole Miss had a chunk of defensive players practicing in non-contact jerseys, including defensive backs Jon Haynes, Jalen Julius and Montrell Custis and outside linebackers Luke Knox and Brenden Williams. On offense, quarterback Kinkead Dent missed practice again after sustaining a concussion in the Ole Miss scrimmage last Saturday, as did wide receiver Jordan Jernigan."
