I have been very hard on coach Bianco over the last few years, so let's get that out of the way. As a person I've always loved the guy, and badly wanted him to succeed because he's so easy to like. I have been so happy for him more than anyone. He is a class act and always deflecting the praise to others. Even when they interviewed him after that awful balk call he just shook it off.
I'm glad he finally got over the hump so I can love the guy again. I almost teared up during his post game interviews. I think we're going to do big things for the next few years. Hopefully we can hold onto Godwin though.

It's amazing how one win can change the outlook that an entire fan base has. The past few days seem like a dream

2 more years with Godwin would be awesome... He'll get interviewed by ECU in 2 weeks but I'm hoping they hire someone with previous head coaching experience... Possibly David Perno... They'll definitely contact Liberty's Jim Toman... I don't think Toman would take it... His next job will probably be a head gig at an ACC or SEC school.

I couldn't be happier for Coach Bianco. Glad to see him get there. I never doubted he would get to Omaha. I knew he would eventually would. I guess I was in the minority of never wanting to fire him.

Yeah, but we don't win that game without winning the one before. And we don't even get to Laffy without winning the regional. And we don't play the regional without winning 40 in the regular season. And and and
Unless you're just overwhelmingly dominant, there's always been a fair amount of luck involved in getting to Omaha. You have to put yourself in a position often enough to catch those breaks.
