Has anyone heard of a time frame we will be releasing the response to the NCAA? Are we waiting for the chatter to die down? Kind of getting nervous and haven't heard anything in a while.

We had 90 days from when the we received the NOA. I don't see why we wouldn't take then entire 90 days.

90 from Jan22. We have 0 reasons to hurry a response before it is 100% ready. I look at it as no news is good news. If there is any additional chargers which there isn't or charges that have not been reported that would come out. But if it's quite means nothing new and we are just preparing a response to known allegation.

The quicker we can put it behind us, the better. If it runs beyond next signing day, I"m sure it will have a negative affect on crootin.

Since non OM employees are involved, I thought we had to wait the full 90 to allow them to do their own responses.

I'm pretty sure that the NCAA will take time to review the response before anything comes of it. This will easilly go until October or November IMO.

I find it funny that the newest rumor now is that supposedly our coaches have hired their own lawyers. Not sure how the Elitiest could find this out. First now lawyer would ever admit this because it is against their clients interest. Secondly, if true, they could likely track down the leak from the NCAA side. I would have figured that after the Miami fiasco the NCAA staff would know better to "talk".

Their source would have to be a Ole Miss coach or high up member in our athletic department spilling the beans. And that's not happening. It's all BS little bro rumors. They have been praying that this NOA was "IT". Now what's in it came out and it is nothing much besides Saunders which is not nothing. So of course now the NCAA has nothing from the past magically they found everything in this recuriting class. But oh didn't want wait a few months after 3 years to put it in the NOA.

Yeah the Saunders stuff is serious and we will have the same thing happen from his time with us. But how much of a reach will come out with the NOA.

The issue is Boone actually did 1 thing right as AD and it was how he handled Saunders:
1) He refused to hire him to an on field position that Nutt wanted.
2) He brought him in as an "admin" and grossly underpaid him just to appease Nutt.
3) Saunders was on the staff for less than 1 year after being with that CSpire sponsored academic thing (where I am hearing he really learned to manipulate the system and helped many schools out....thus why Nutt wanted him so badly even though he is now denying he wanted Saunders).
4) Lastly Boone and the Athletic Department reported Saunders to the NCAA after the lawsuit (going to court is the worst thing anyone could do when they have unclean hands because your garbage will see the light of day).
All that being said we are going to take a hit regarding this but it isn't going to be anything near what some of the rabid MSU fans are hoping for. Additionally, I have said this 1,000 times but the entire SEC and some ACC schools should pray that Saunders never really opens up about what he did while working for the CSpire academic center (forgive me but I can't recall what name they called that initiative).
