Anthony Perez played some big minutes last night. It was his first time playing in an SEC conference game and he stepped up with a big 3 and made some plays on defense. Hopefully, this will be some sort of spark for him and AK will start working him into the rotation more.

Good. He's more versatile than Jones.

I think alot of the guys are starting to figure out what their role is.

Jones plays with energy and gets boards.
Perez once he stops thinking and just plays adds a option that can stretch the floor and can rebound.
White is another scoring option if Henderson is off.
Newby I would just like for him to realize he is a great defender. Just hustle on offense but his role is defense at this point.

I was definitely pleased with Perez's play last night. He was might have been the spark.

AK said going into the season he had all the tools he was just raw. He said somewhere if he was ready he would be the best option to backup Summers at PG which is ridiculous at his size. The more the plays the deeper we get which is only a good thing.

Only problem with Perez, he is weak. Don't get me wrong, I think he has a lot of talent, but he gets pushed around a lot. Add some LBs to him and he will be very good!

If he is playing point guard that isnt as much of a issue.

True, but when he is in a rebounding situation he gets bullied. That'll change though as he becomes less timid and gets stronger.
