Anyone else hearing we have some big lead gifts towards baseball and Gillom Center renovations? Heard that we will announce before the LSU game. I'm excited to see what the plan is.

Why the hell would we renovate? We just renovated and expanded 6 years ago

Because we are moving everything that was in the Starnes building into the Gillom center. Mostly new weight rooms for all the girl sports and locker rooms. Might be more than that but that's what I expect

How exactly are they going to fit weight rooms in Gillom? You have the Volleyball court and 3 indoor Tennis courts in the Middle. One hallway is offices for the smaller sports (Volleyball, Rifle, Soccer etc.). The other hall way has locker rooms for Volleyball and Soccer. I guess by the entrance to the soccer field you could put a weight room, maybe but those are the visitor soccer locker rooms. Are they going to add on to the building?

Wouldn't mind a few baseball additions. Not sure what they'll do, but it's always cool to see the school give some attention to baseball.

They are coming. New video board, new locker room and weight room, and we are lowering the wall and adding more seats in front that go all the way down to the field like MLB teams, USCe, and LSU do.

Wouldn't mind building some bleachers above the tailgating area in right field to make it even more rowdy out there.

I guess that is where the "renovation and expansion" part comes in.
