It's may seem overblown because I'm focusing on being 100% for the first game. I have no doubts about our team's health and preparations for the season, its just that first game isn't far away and its monumental.
One thing people don't seem to understand about Bo is he can't hurt his shoulder worse than it was at the end of the season unless he has a completely different injury. You saw him at his worse. He may have it re hurt but he proved last year he can move the ball fine with a fricked up shoulder.

That pick he threw to Cam Lawrence won't fly against other SEC teams. He can't throw the long ball that well, if at all. Not flaming, just being objective. You can't sit here and tell me that he can't re-injure the same shoulder that he was playing with last year.

True, but he can injure it to the same extent that he did last year.
I hope he doesn't for two reasons: 1) I want to see just how good the kid is at %100. 2) I want him to be %100 when we whoop dat arse in Starkville so y'all aren't using the shoulder as an excuse

It's going to be an interesting Egg Bowl... We never play well in Starkville... I hope we're favored... I think we will be.

You also didn't mention Sawyer was on crutches when they unveiled the new jerseys. That is our starting CB and most experienced DB.
Issac Gross is also coming off a injury as well.
My hope is that we got most of the injuries out of the way in the spring and the team will have the luck of last year where there aren't very many significant injuries.
Interested to see what DT can give. That kids story has movie all over it.

I saw Cj the other day he looks like kentrell a lot now.
if you're referring to after Kentrell's injury, then that is not a good thing. Lockett was incredibly undersized when he came back. I know you can't do certain things with an injured ACL but he looked more like a lanky basketball player than a lanky football player. No way in hell he was 250.

I think Kentrell's problem was lack of working out. We can probably blame that on Nutt and staff, but I highly doubt CJ will look like he hasn't lifted anything but an XBOX controller come Vandy.

Another tidbit of negativity is our OL weight gain. Some people are looking at it as a positive, others a negative.
Half empty: Our offense isn't made for a big OL. If certain players who need extra weight were putting it on like Still and Conyers then you could attribute it to PJ but the guys who don't need anymore weight gain (Duke, Morris, Bell, Bailey) are the ones putting on the weight. Also guys that could change our defense if they put on 10-15lbs of solid muscle (CJ, Denzel, Gross) haven't gained much at all.
Half full: PJ runs these guys to death. If they are able to gain this type of size with as much running as they are doing then a lot of it has to be good size. OL can use weight gain to an advantage more than any other position.
What's odd is the two OL who have come off surgeries have gained and lost. Junen, who had surgery on his toe lost weight and Morris who had surgery on his shoulder, gained weight. You would figure the guy who couldn't run would have gained vs the guy who couldn't lift upper body, but could run
