Thacker Mountain Radio 6pm - Thursday nights during the school year. Go to City Grocery (upstairs) for a drink after.

Breakfast- Bottle Tree Bakery
Lunch - Ajax, Volta, or Boure
Dinner, - Taylor Grocery in Taylor, MS BYOB

Rowan Oak is neat if you never been. Also, check out the Lamar Lounge for the best burger in Oxford and they have really great music time to time.

That's a reason to not go there, right?

Ok so one thing I've noticed about restaurants that have hamburgers in Oxford, they all claim to have the best hamburger in Oxford....... Maybe we should do a bear rant taste test to decide which is the greatest burger in all of Oxford.. Just a thought.

If you go to Oxford and don't at least get some Ajax you'll be missing out.

I really can't stand it. Unfortunately I've had the displeasure of eating there about 10 times in my years here. I try to avoid it as much as possible. I've never had a meal that was more than blah.

What is there to do as far as physical activity (sex excluded). Any parks or cool recreational things to do? Rivers to float? Mnt biking trails? Swimming holes?

Or is everyone in Oxford fat?

I would say Ajax is better than blah, but not worthy of the praise it gets. Solid, but not spectacular.

Campus is easily one of the prettiest in the SEC and you should definitely take a stroll through there. If you're looking for outdoors stuff I know Sardis Lake is just up the road. That's all I've got for you, but I haven't spent nearly as much time there as a lot of these guys.

Oxford is a small, southern college town. From what I've gathered from my visits is that most of your nightlife is centered around that and down at the Square.

Definitely the secks... Our wimmenz aren't that good looking for nothin....

And we have a pretty good golf course, quick and easy access to a lake, and like belle said, walking around campus and the square because it really is beautiful

Okay, so other than restaurants, nightlife, and the campus, there's not much else to do in Oxford.

Anything interesting outside the city limits? Museums? Historical places?

Backroading, cowtipping (that's more of a Moo U State thing), da seks is good too. What else do you want to be able to do? I know Missouri doesn't have that much to do either.

Mississippi is what you make of it, it's all about good friends, good food, and good music. If you have that then I would say the majority of us can agree that you have it all!
