Just watched it.

What a fricking game.

How can y'all not be pleased with how well the team played? They looked great.

It's ok to be frustrated with the loss, but come on. Our team looked good. They took a great team to the wire and made it look easy.

I said at the outset of this season that I'd expect 6-6 and be ok with it as long as we didn't get blown out and we were still in every game in the 4th quarter. That's been true so far. I love it.

It's football. You win some, you lose some. The fact that in year two of a HUGE rebuilding project we are taking the top teams to the wire is amazing.

I've said it before, but some people need to remember that Freeze is new to this, too. We took a gamble on a young, unproven coach and it has paid huge dividends already. But, he is only in his 3rd year of D1 HC experience. Coaching mistakes will happen.

All in all, I could only be happier with a W. Team looked great.

We're banged the frick up on defense, though! Damn!

It was a very entertaining game. I thought we played well for the most part. Freeze really is doing a great job with what he's been given.

We have an over abundance of really stupid fans.

I was pissed last night just because we lost a heartbreaker but our defense is so injured. We have LSU next and It is just frustrating

+1

Also, I'll add that if Brunetti was healthy for Bama we might not have had those red zone woes. He seems to be a big part of what Freeze wants to do down there. It's like Freeze is forced to used him since we lack a true dual-threat.

Kincade cant "get it" soon enough.

I was frustrated that we lost a close game, but I'm not going to get angry at Freeze or the players.

Our fans are quick to forget the wonderful experiences of the 2011 season.

The game was great to attend, but absolutely heart breaking when it came down to the wire. The win was just dangling in front of us and we couldn't grasp it.

I agree, but that's no reason to abandon our team like some fans have done.

Of course. That would have been wonderful.

But you can't win them all.

Even the greats don't do that. They occasionally lose to the other greats. Last night we took one of the greats to the wire like we belonged. That's a huge step in the right direction.

Nothing about last night's game felt flukish. Last year we took TAMU to the wire, but I'll be the first to admit that that was thanks to some fortuitous turnovers that were not all forced by us. Last night was different. It felt like we earned the right to be in that game at the end.

I'm happy. We're getting there.

You should blame Jeff Scott. If he doesn't make that run against Vandy your fans never get their hopes up.

I am all the way behind the players. I know we are heading in a direction we haven't been in since the sixties. It just takes time and we haven't won in so long, i want to win.

I guess 2009 seems like a long time ago to a 15 year old.

I'm 27 and it feels like 50 years ago to me.
