I think he could be as good at DE but he won't be as good of a LB again. He's been working at rush end all summer

Agree. He just won't have the sideline to sideline movement necessary to play LB. If he can brace the frick out of his knee though he could put on a decent bull rush, especially in passing situations.

He was quoted last year saying that he could have made some adjustments pre snap to get us out of some bad looks that could have helped us in those close games. If he can run and be somewhat effective, he could be a much needed QB of our defense.
